Taking his third victory and back-to-back win at the Brazilian GP, Jarno Opmeer remains the favourite to win the Drivers' title upon the conclusion of the season on 27 March 2025.
On taking the title, Jarno said: “Pleased to take the team title alongside Frede, of course supported by our engineering team too. On the day we just had to stay calm and get the result, so I’m happy that it worked out. The Drivers’ is still a close fight but I’m going into the final race with a decent lead so hoping to convert and make it a double.”
Frede said: “I’m happy and relieved to get the team title after being so close every year since 2020. Working with Jarno has been great and amazing job from the wider team too.”
Joe Soltysik, Head of Esports at Oracle Red Bull Racing, said: “Winning our first team title since 2020 has been a mammoth achievement on and off the track. We are so proud of the effort, determination and dedication of Jarno and Frede and our engineering support Ondrej and Liam to lead this title charge. To come away with the title with one race to spare in such a close competition is remarkable and we look forward to seeing how we can build off this success.”
